Superman is dead
nah..! group band yang satu ini sempet meramaikan kamar gw setiap pagi, waktu gw masih dirumah dan belum beredar kemana2 kayak sekarang ini, :D ya.. mungkin masa2 pembentukan karakter lah.. hehe..gila lagu2 emosional dan pembawaan karakter keras yang memberontak sisi-sisi kehidupan yang selama ini banyak kita abaikan, telinga gw seakan dimanjkan dan seperti mendapat terapi di setiap pagi unuk melanjutkan aktifitas2 yang lumayan membosankan,, band ini kebanyakan mengemas teriakan2 kaum tertindas,tersudut dan terabaikan dengan gaya dan karakter musik mereka yang notabene bergenre rockabilly/punk, sama halnya seperti band2 punk yang lain yang memprioritaskan hal tersebut pada lagu2 yang mereka ciptakan..
band yang beranggotakan tiga personil ini mulai dibentuk pada tahun 1995 dengan formasi Ari Astina " jrx" sebagai drummer dan Budi Sartika "bobby kool" sebagai gitaris,, saat itu bassis diisi oleh additional player yang bernama Ajuzt,, awalnya mereka membawakan lagu band punk Inggris " greenday".
hari berganti hari dan hadirlah sang bassis yang bernama Eka Arsana " Eka Rock" dan resmi menjad personil band SID.. dulu nama superman is dead adalah " Superman Is Silver Gun" namun nama itu dirasa kurang cocok dan mereka bertiga sepakat unuk menggani nama band mereka menjadi "Superman Is Dead" yang berarti bahwa tidak ada manusia yang sempurna di dunia ini seperti superman layaknya di film2, kesempurnaan adalah illusi dan imajinasi manusia yang tak pernah ada.

Celine Dion
Céline Marie Claudette Dion (lahir di Charlemagne, Quebec, Kanada, 30 Maret 1968; umur 43 tahun) atau lebih dikenal dengan Celine Dion merupakan seorang penyanyi dan diva pop dunia berkebangsaan Kanada. Ia memulai debutnya di industri rekaman pada tahun 1981 sebagai penyanyi berbahasa Perancis, di bawah bimbingan René Angélil, yang kemudian menjadi suaminya sampai sekarang.[1] Ia pun kemudian menjadi penyanyi terkenal di negara-negara berbahasa Perancis. Pada tahun 1990, Celine mulai merilis album berbahasa Inggris pertamanya, Unison yang melejitkan namanya di Amerika Utara dan di seluruh dunia.[2] Sepanjang dekade 1990-an, Celine meraih kesuksesan di seluruh dunia dengan sejumlah album dalam bahasa Inggris dan Perancis, menjadikannya salah satu artis tersukses dalam sejarah musik pop.[3][4]
Sepanjang perjalanan kariernya, Celine telah menerima banyak penghargaan diantaranya: 5 Grammy Awards, 12 World Music Awards, 7 American Music Awards, 7 Billboard Music Awards, 21 Juno Awards dan 39 Felix Awards.
Pada tahun 1996, Celine menerima penghargaan "Medals of Arts and Letters" dari pemerintah Perancis sebagai artis berbahasa Perancis terlaris dalam sejarah. Pada tahun 2004, ia juga dianugerahi Chopard Diamond award oleh World Music Awards sebagai artis wanita terlaris sepanjang masa.[5][6] Pada tahun 2007, Sony BMG mengumumkan bahwa Dion telah menjual lebih dari 200 juta keping album di seluruh dunia.[7]
Masa kecil dan awal karier (1968-1989)
Celine Dion dilahirkan di kota kecil Charlemagne, Quebec, Kanada dari pasangan berdarah Kanada-Perancis.[4][8] Ia dibesarkan di tengah keluarga sederhana yang sangat dekat dengan musik. Di usia kanak-kanak, Celine sudah mulai tampil dan di usia 12 tahun, ia mulai merekam lagu pertamanya berjudul "Ce n'était qu'un rêve".[8] Kakak laki-lakinya kemudian mengirimkan rekaman lagu tersebut kepada René Angélil, seorang manejer musik.[1] Angélil pun terharu mendengar suara Dion dan bertekad menjadikannya seorang bintang.[8]Pada tahun 1981, Celine merilis album pertamanya dalam bahasa Perancis, La voix du bon Dieu, yang menjadi album lokal nomor 1 di Quebec. Untuk artis berbahasa Perancis ia sudah termasuk artis yang sukses, namun namanya masih tidak dikenal di negara-negara berbahasa Inggris. Pada tahun 1990, Dion melancarkan album berbahasa Inggris pertamanya, Unison.[1] Untuk album pertamanya ini Dion dibantu oleh banyak musisi terkenal termasuk Vito Luprano dan David Foster.[12] Ia pun seketika menjadi pendatang baru bersinar di Amerika, Eropa dan Asia. Album ini menelurkan singel "Where Does My Heart Beat Now" yang berhasil mencapai Top 5 di tangga lagu Billboard Hot 100. Dion benar-benar mencapai popularitasnya di kancah internasional setelah berduet dengan Peabo Bryson dalam soundtrack film Disney, Beauty and the Beast (1991).[13] Lagu ini berhasil memenangkan kategori "Best Song" di Academy Awards dan "Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal" di ajang Grammy Awards.[12]Celine merilis album keduanya bertajuk Celine Dion di tahun 1992. Selain "Beauty and the Beast", album ini memuat singel "If You Asked Me To" yang mencapai posisi 4 di Billboard Hot 100. Album ini meraih banyak penghargaan dan mengantarkan Dion menjadi penyanyi terkenal ke seluruh dunia. Sayangnya, ditengah kesuksesannya, Celine mendapat kritikan dari penggemarnya yang berbahasa Perancis karena merasa diabaikan.[12][14] Di saat memenangkan Felix Awards sebagai "English Artist of the Year", Dion pun terang-terangan menolak penghargaan tersebut dan menyatakan bahwa ia adalah seorang artis Perancis dan akan selalu menjadi artis Perancis.[2][15]
Pada tahun 1993, Dion meluncurkan album The Colour of My Love yang fokus pada percintaan.[16] Album ini pun melejit menjadi album top di seluruh dunia. Album ini melahirkan singel-singel nomor 1 pertama Dion: "The Power of Love" (Amerika Serikat, Kanada dan Australia), "Think Twice" (Britania Raya) dan "To Love You More" (Jepang). Album ini berhasil terjual lebih dari 20 juta keping di seluruh dunia. Celine kemudian mendapat penghargaan "World’s Best-selling Canadian Female Recording Artist of the Year" pada World Music Awards 1996.
Dion tidak melupakan bahasa ibunya, pada tahun 1991, ia merilis album Dion chante Plamondon yang sebagian besar diisi lagu-lagu daur ulang. Album Deux yang dirilis pada tahun 1995, merupakan album berbahasa Perancis tersukses Celine. Paruh akhir dekade 1990-an merupakan puncak popularitas Celine Dion di seluruh dunia. Di era ini Dion merilis 3 buah album berbahasa Inggris yang menjadi album-album tersuksesnya. Di mulai di tahun 1996, Dion merilis album Falling into You. Album ini berhasil mencapai posisi satu di banyak negara dan merupakan salah satu album terlaris di dunia dengan penjualan lebih dari 32 juta keping. Album ini menelurkan hits nomor 1 berjudul "Because You Loved Me". Album ini memenangkan 2 kategori di Grammy Awards, yaitu sebagai "Best Pop Album" dan "Album of the Year".Setahun berikutnya, album Let's Talk About Love dilepas ke pasaran. Album in terjual lebih dari 31 juta kopi di seluruh dunia dengan penjualan lebih dari 1 juta kopi di Kanada, Perancis, Jerman, Italia, Jepang, Britania Raya dan Amerika Serikat. Di Amerika Serikat bahkan mendapat sertifikasi Diamond dengan penjualan 10.550.000 juta keping. Album ini melahirkan hits "My Heart Will Go On", yang menjadi soundtrack film blockbuster, Titanic. Singel ini mencapai posisi nomor 1 di banyak tangga lagu di seluruh belahan dunia dan menjadi singel tersukses Dion sampai saat ini. Dengan "My Heart Will Go On", Celine berhasil memenangkan Grammy Awards untuk kategori "Best Female Pop Vocal Performance" dan "Record of the Year".
Album natal bertajuk These Are Special Times dirilis pada tahun 1999 lagi-lagi menjadi album sukses. Setelah Disclaimer dirilis, band memulai tur non-stop dengan harapan bisa menggenjot penjualan dan ketenaran. Setelah tur selesai, mereka berencana pergi ke studio dan merekam rilis kedua. Namun, mereka malah terketuk untuk mendukung Evanescence dalam tur dunia yang menunda rencana rekaman mereka hampir satu tahun lamanya. Dalam tur ini, band menggubah ballad akustik "Broken" menjadi electric ballad dan mendapuk Amy Lee dari Evanescence untuk berbagi vokal dengan Morgan pada saat pertunjukan live.
Karena terinspirasi oleh reaksi positif atas duet itu dan mungkin dipengaruhi oleh romansa antara Lee dan Morgan, band segera ke studio dan merekam sebuah versi lain dari "Broken" dengan Amy Lee pada vokal.
